Day at the Derby® began as Horse Racing, back in 2004, and the field-and-leaderboard shape it set is still the spine of every format that came after it. Guests at each table make their selections from the card, the field runs, and the board updates between heats so the room always knows exactly where things stand. Nobody is watching from the back of the room. Everybody at every table has a stake in the next result.
How a round runs
A round starts with the card going up on the shared display and closing at the touchscreen kiosks. Once the field runs, results post immediately and standings shift on the leaderboard everyone is already facing. Short rounds mean a table that wandered off for a refill or arrived late from a breakout session is still in it for the next one. This is purely social competition, run on selections and picks, not on money changing hands. Our crew builds, runs and strikes the whole system, so the only thing your team manages is the guest list.

Where it fits in a real run of show
Horse Racing sits comfortably inside a two-hour window between a general session and dinner service, or as the anchor of a standalone evening. Because every station is intuitive, there is no learning curve eating into the program: a table sits down, gets the card explained in under a minute, and is watching the next field run before the appetizers land. When a band or DJ is booked for the same room, our crew coordinates audio cues around the race breaks so the two never fight each other for the room's attention.
It scales the same way the rest of the platform does. A 100-guest hospitality suite and a 2,000-guest convention closer run on the same kiosks and the same crew discipline, just more of each. All staffing, equipment and technology are provided and managed by our team, so your team is never the one troubleshooting a touchscreen at 8pm.
